India reports 44,658 new COVID-19 cases, Kerala continues to be worst-hit state

India on Friday registered over 40,000 cases of coronavirus infections for the second staright day. With 44,658 new COVID-19 cases India's total tally of COVID-19 cases has increased to 3,26,03,188 while the active cases rose to 3,44,899. The active cases comprise 1.03 per cent of the total infections.
